Taylor Stepp, CEcD

President & Founder

Taylor Stepp is a nationally recognized site selector and economic developer. He has a unique set of experiences as a site selector, credits & incentives executive, economic developer, and entrepreneur. At Ernst & Young (EY), Taylor was an executive who helped lead site selection and credits & incentives project across the United States for numerous Fortune 500 and large privately held companies. His project portfolio totaled more than $30B and he was the subject matter expert for the State of Ohio.

Taylor has experience working in local, regional, and state economic development. In his time as Director of Projects for Ohio Southeast Economic Development (OhioSE), Taylor helped structure incentive offers for hundreds of companies and aided in their continued growth. He also has experience at JobsOhio and leading a local economic development organization. In addition to his economic development and site selection experience, Taylor possesses a wealth of knowledge in public policy, public affairs, and public finance having clerked the Ohio House Finance Committee through multiple operating budgets totaling more than $70B and enacting numerous significant elements of public policy in state government.

Taylor’s insights have been featured in Area Development magazine and he is a former committee member for the International Economic Development Council (IEDC) and a board of director for the Ohio Economic Development Association. Taylor is a Certified Economic Developer (CEcD) from IEDC. He has his Master’s of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Southern Indiana and a Bachelor’s of Arts from The Ohio State University.

Taylor is involved at his local church where he serves on the board and plays drums for the worship team. He is also a passionate entrepreneur who understands the challenges facing start-ups and growing businesses. Taylor, his wife and daughter live in Jackson, Ohio.
